I’m all for throwing out the government idiots. Both the elected and the non elected (the bureaucrats make things the worst and include those of staff of the elected people.) However I don’t see that happening in my life time. I will continue to vote against incumbents; however I’m not willing to take a stand that will endanger my family.

Were I single I’d take a public stand against the corruption. However I have a wife and kids that depend on me for a living. Only when the resistance seems to have a chance of winning will I endanger my family by publicly joining. In the mean time, I’ve stocked up on things such as food, and water, my families medications (3 month supply of each and growing) I’ve got alternative heat sources in my home (wood fireplace insert and wood stove) along with enough fuel to run them at last years coldest level for about a month. The only fire arm I have is a single shot 12 gauge. I’d get a more effective resistance type weapon but can’t afford it right now.

My job was eliminated March 09, I was able to find other employment but am taking home less than half of what I used to despite working 3 jobs currently. I average 68-73 work hours per week, 1 full time 2 part time jobs. I blame the job loss on the economy, the bad economy on the Federal Reserve perpetual debt system. The only reason I have my home is I didn’t get a huge expensive one like the realtor and mortgage company told me I could afford. I went smaller and guess what; I get to keep this place for now anyway.

Let me know when I can do more than show up at rally’s and send letters to my so called representatives at the local, state and federal level!

Good post, young lady ( Forgive me if my presumption of your youth is wrong )
For too long has politics devolved into a right vs left atmosphere, and i blame the media in a large part. They no longer need to do some basic research. They can just invite two folks on either side to shout their talking points.
Mr.Paul not only has young supporters but also people like me rooting for him, and more importantly, the principles and positions he stands for.
Kudos to you too for bringing this online – as i am currently half way around the world and am no longer actively following american politics
