Hello, Im Senator John Thune of South Dakota. With summer in full swing, children across the country are enjoying vacations and time off from school. Too many of their parents, however, dont get a vacation from their worries about important issues like the rising costs of health care. Senator Thune is speaking in generalities because the Republicans do not have a plan other than to try and kill reform. Senator Thune has received over $2 million in contributions from special interest groups and perhaps that some bearing on his comments.
